The new Jaguar E-Pace has been officially unveiled with a bang in London, however, the public debut will take place at the 2017 Frankfurt Auto Show. It rolled into the record books by achieving an epic 15.3 meter-long jump, complete with a 270-degree corkscrew-like ‘barrel roll’.

Helping to achieve the official GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ title for the Furthest Barrel Roll in a Production Vehicle was legendary British stunt driver Terry Grant. Do you know Terry holds inspiring 21 GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ titles.

The 5-seat compact crossover SUV carries a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-4 cylinder engine churning out 246 horsepower and 269 pound-feet of torque. In R-Dynamic version, the same engine pumps out 296 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque. The all-wheel drive system is standard on the crossover. It rides on the same LR-MS platform, which also underpins the Range Rover Evoque and Land Rover Discovery Sport.

The performance specs aren’t bad either with 0 to 60mph time of 6.6 seconds on the standard version. The same sprint can be completed within 5.9 seconds on the R-Dynamic.
